FUN WITH A PURPOSE
Events
The first FOM event was the Hot Rod Hula Hop in 2005 in Columbus, Ohio. The FOM has expanded our events since that time, with a strong charitable purpose to each of our events - exemplifying our “Party with a Purpose” mantra. Some events are held annually, and others return every few years. In addition to these larger events, there are many small events and gatherings. Follow our local chapters on social media to find out what gatherings & events may be going on near you.
OHANA: Luau at the Lake
Ohana Luau at the Lake was started in 2009 & is our annual event held in Lake George, NY benefitting the Easter Island Foundation. Ohana is a weekend of Polynesia in the Adirondacks where our mission of “fun with a purpose” is fully realized. Since 2009, we have raised over $400,000 for the Easter Island Foundation through Ohana Luau at the Lake.
CATT
The Chicago Area Tiki Tour (CATT) is a fun-filled bus tour of great Chicagoland area tiki venues, classic & new. The first CATT was in 2011, and happens in occasional years, so watch for the next tour. The funds raised at the CATT benefit the Easter Island Foundation. The CATT is sponsored by the Red Palms chapter of the FOM, which encompasses the Chicagoland area.
